Tomato fresh basil salad (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main ingredients

01 - 1-2 green onions, finely chopped
02 - 8 pitted kalamata olives
03 - 4 ripe but firm medium-sized tomatoes
04 - Fresh chopped herbs (parsley, chives, basil)

→ Dressing

05 - 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (60 ml)
06 - 4 tablespoons red wine vinegar (60 ml)
07 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# Instructions:

01 - Slice the tomatoes into rounds or wedges. Lay them out flat in a wide serving dish.
02 - Drizzle oil and vinegar over the top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
03 - Top everything with the olives, green onion, and a handful of fresh herbs.

# Notes:

01 - Best enjoyed the same day for freshest taste
02 - To reduce saltiness, blanch the olives 2-3 times in hot water
