Strawberry oat crumble (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Strawberry Filling

01 - Fresh strawberries
02 - Sugar (granulated or brown)
03 - Vanilla extract
04 - Cornstarch
05 - Lemon juice

→ Oat Crumble Mixture

06 - Flour (all-purpose)
07 - Cinnamon powder
08 - Salt (optional)
09 - Old-fashioned oats
10 - Cold butter
11 - Sugar

→ Optional Toppings

12 - Vanilla ice cream

# Instructions:

01 - Wash them up, drain, then ditch the stems. Slice them into halves or quarters depending on their size.
02 - Turn your oven on and heat it up to 375°F (190°C).
03 - Toss strawberries with the rest of the filling ingredients in a big bowl. Spread the mix evenly into your baking dish.
04 - In a mixing bowl, combine flour, spices, and sugar. Add in the chilled butter and crumble it quickly with your fingers. Toss in the oats and give it all a stir.
05 - Sprinkle the crumble over the top of the strawberries. Stick it in the oven and bake for around 30 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on it near the end—it’s done when the edges bubble and the top is golden.
06 - Let it cool down just a bit before serving. Pair it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if you want.

# Notes:

01 - Frozen strawberries work great—no need to thaw them first.
02 - Grab an oven-safe dish that holds about 2 liters.
03 - Go with a round, square, oval, or rectangular dish—any shape works!
