Parfait guacamole mexicain (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3 ripe avocados, peeled and pits removed
02 - Juice from 2 limes
03 - 1 clove of garlic, minced
04 - A pinch of ground cumin (optional)
05 - 3 tablespoons of fresh cilantro, chopped
06 - 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped
07 - ¼ of a red onion, finely diced
08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Using a fork, mash up the avocados. Leave some small chunks for texture if you like.
02 - Stir in all the other ingredients. Taste it and tweak the flavor if needed—add extra lime juice or a pinch of salt to make it pop.
03 - Serve right away with tortilla chips (or other dippers).

# Notes:

01 - To keep it looking fresh, make guacamole just before serving. This way, your avocados won’t brown too quickly (a natural reaction to air).
02 - If you want your guac to stand out, try tossing in a dash of ground cumin—or even ground coriander. For an extra limey kick, a bit of lime zest works wonders too.
