Fluffy American Pancakes (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 210g of all-purpose flour
02 - 1½ teaspoons baking powder
03 - ½ teaspoon salt
04 - 36g of granulated sugar

→ Wet Ingredients

05 - 1½ cups of milk
06 - 43g melted unsalted butter
07 - ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
08 - 2 large eggs

→ Optional Toppings

09 - ½ cup of chocolate shavings
10 - ½ cup of crumbled cheese
11 - ¼ cup shredded coconut
12 - ½ cup of banana slices
13 - ½ cup of blueberries or raspberries
14 - ½ cup of dried fruit
15 - ½ cup of chopped nuts

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a big bowl and stir all the dry ingredients together.
02 - In a different bowl, whisk all the wet stuff until smooth.
03 - Pour the wet mixture into the dry one. Stir gently until just combined. Don’t overdo it.
04 - Heat a pan over medium. Pour ⅓ cup of batter and spread it into a 13 cm circle. Flip when bubbles pop on top and cook the other side until golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap the butter with browned butter for a nuttier flavor or use vegetable oil instead.
02 - Replace sugar with brown sugar, muscovado, honey, or maple syrup if you prefer.
