Creamy Blue Cheese Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tbsp butter, olive oil, or clarified butter
02 - 2 cups water
03 - 1 1/2 cups oat milk
04 - 6 oz blue cheese or any cheese you like
05 - 3 tbsp heavy cream or any plant-based alternative
06 - 12 oz chicken breast, cut into chunks
07 - 6 oz button mushrooms or any seasonal veggie
08 - 1 tbsp wheat flour or cornstarch
09 - 1 bouillon cube (chicken, fish, or veggie stock based on the protein choice)

# Instructions:

01 - Pour in the oat milk, heavy cream, and crumbled blue cheese. Stir gently and let everything simmer until the sauce turns smooth and creamy. Serve up hot alongside some pasta or rice.
02 - Melt butter in a skillet, brown the chicken pieces, then set them aside. Toss the mushroom slices and onion into the same pan and stir while sautéing. Add water with the dissolved bouillon cube into the pot.
03 - Return the cooked chicken to the pan and simmer until most of the liquid is reduced. Sprinkle in the flour, throw in more butter if needed, and stir everything thoroughly.
04 - Peel and chop the onion and mushrooms. Slice the chicken into big hearty chunks.

# Notes:

01 - Cheesy and rich comfort food for anyone who loves bold flavors.
02 - Pairs wonderfully with tender pasta or fluffy white rice.
