Light Banana Sweet Treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 overripe bananas
02 - 1 cup milk
03 - 7 tablespoons heavy cream
04 - 2 tablespoons sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
07 - A splash of lemon juice

# Instructions:

01 - Mash the bananas thoroughly in a bowl with a tiny bit of lemon juice.
02 - Mix cornstarch with a small amount of milk in a pot until it's smooth.
03 - Pour in the remaining milk, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla. Heat gently while whisking continuously.
04 - Stir in the mashed bananas and keep mixing until the cream thickens (takes about 5-7 minutes).
05 - When you've got a smooth, creamy texture, pour the mixture into small dishes or glasses.
06 - Let it cool down before chilling in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

# Notes:

01 - Top with banana slices, shaved chocolate or crumbled cookies right before you serve.
02 - Make it extra tasty with a drizzle of caramel or a dollop of peanut butter.
03 - You can make this ahead the night before to save time.
