Melt-in-your-mouth Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ For the cookies

01 - 200g unsalted butter, softened
02 - 50g powdered sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
04 - 200g all-purpose flour
05 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt

→ For the chocolate coating

07 - 150g dark or milk chocolate, finely chopped
08 - 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (optional for a glossy finish)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 180°C and lay parchment paper on your baking tray.
02 - Grab a bowl and cream the softened butter with powdered sugar until fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
03 - Sift the flour, cornstarch, and salt together, then gently mix it into the butter mixture until smooth dough forms.
04 - Put the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe 5-7 cm cookies onto the tray, leaving space in between.
05 - Bake them for 12-15 minutes, just until the edges start turning golden.
06 - Let the cookies sit on the tray for 5 minutes, then move them to a rack to cool completely.
07 - Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 20-second bursts. Stir until smooth, adding vegetable oil if you want a shinier finish.
08 - Dip one end of each cookie into the warm chocolate and set them on parchment paper to set.
09 - Wait until the chocolate completely hardens before enjoying them.
