02 - 450g medium to large shrimp, peeled and deveined

→ Cajun Butter Mix

04 - 2 tablespoons soft butter
05 - 1½ teaspoons homemade Cajun seasoning
06 - 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro or parsley

# Instructions:

01 - Pat the shrimp dry using a paper towel.
02 - Combine butter, garlic, herbs, and Cajun spices in a bowl. Set aside for later.
03 - Warm up olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. Spread out the shrimp in a single layer (a little overlap is fine). Cook about a minute till they show some pink color.
04 - Turn the heat down to medium-low, then stir in the Cajun butter. Coat the shrimp well.
05 - Keep stirring while cooking until the shrimp turn opaque and feel firm, taking about 1–2 minutes.

# Notes:

01 - Make the Cajun butter ahead and keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze it for later use.
02 - You can go with a store-bought Cajun spice mix, but tweak the amount depending on its saltiness.
