Turn your oven on to 210°C to warm it up.

Crack the eggs into a bowl, pour in the milk, toss in the pepper, and give it a good stir. Then, leave it aside.

Pour the breadcrumbs onto a plate and keep it nearby.

Cut the onions crosswise into 1/2 cm thick rings.

Toss the onion slices into a freezer bag, throw in the flour, and sprinkle some salt and pepper. Close the bag up tight and shake it like crazy so the onions get coated well.

Take a piece of onion and dunk it in the egg mix, then roll it around in the breadcrumbs to cover it all over.

Spread the coated onions out on a tray, spray them lightly with oil, and bake them for 15-20 minutes. Pull them out when they look golden brown.
