Crispy Baked Onions (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 large onions (sweet or red)
02 - 200 g breadcrumbs
03 - 80 g flour
04 - 2 eggs
05 - 3 tablespoons milk
06 - 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
07 - Vegetable oil
08 - Salt
09 - Black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 210°C to warm it up.
02 - Crack the eggs into a bowl, pour in the milk, toss in the pepper, and give it a good stir. Then, leave it aside.
03 - Pour the breadcrumbs onto a plate and keep it nearby.
04 - Cut the onions crosswise into 1/2 cm thick rings.
05 - Toss the onion slices into a freezer bag, throw in the flour, and sprinkle some salt and pepper. Close the bag up tight and shake it like crazy so the onions get coated well.
06 - Take a piece of onion and dunk it in the egg mix, then roll it around in the breadcrumbs to cover it all over.
07 - Spread the coated onions out on a tray, spray them lightly with oil, and bake them for 15-20 minutes. Pull them out when they look golden brown.
