Preheat your oven to 180°C. Melt the butter and grease your baking dish.

Wash and dry the apricots. Remove the pits, then slice them into halves or quarters based on their size. Arrange them at the bottom of the greased baking dish.

Combine the almond powder, baking powder, and flour in a bowl.

In another bowl, beat the eggs with sugar, salt, and vanilla for 5 minutes. Stir in the milk and melted butter until mixed well.

Slowly add your dry mix to the wet ingredients, blending carefully until smooth. Pour the batter over the apricots.

Bake for about 45 minutes. Stick a toothpick in the center once done; it should come out clean. Let it cool slightly before sprinkling with powdered sugar.
