Apricot almond treat (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Fruits

01 - 500 g of ripe fresh apricots, pitted and cut into halves or quarters

→ Batter Mix

02 - 50 g almond powder
03 - 50 g all-purpose flour
04 - 1 teaspoon baking powder (half a packet)
05 - 4 eggs
06 - 125 g granulated sugar
07 - 2 small pinches of salt
08 - 25 g melted butter
09 - 250 ml whole milk
10 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Optional Toppings

11 - Powdered sugar
12 - Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 180°C. Melt the butter and grease your baking dish.
02 - Wash and dry the apricots. Remove the pits, then slice them into halves or quarters based on their size. Arrange them at the bottom of the greased baking dish.
03 - Combine the almond powder, baking powder, and flour in a bowl.
04 - In another bowl, beat the eggs with sugar, salt, and vanilla for 5 minutes. Stir in the milk and melted butter until mixed well.
05 - Slowly add your dry mix to the wet ingredients, blending carefully until smooth. Pour the batter over the apricots.
06 - Bake for about 45 minutes. Stick a toothpick in the center once done; it should come out clean. Let it cool slightly before sprinkling with powdered sugar.
